BEACH

Monterosso is the only village in the Cinque Terre with its own well-equipped beach. The old village's beach is right in front of Hotel Pasquale. This was the fishermen's beach even before there was a wharf. Then just 200-250 metres from the hotel, heading towards the railway station, there is a much larger beach, again well-equipped. The beach facilities normally open in mid-May and close at the end of September, but – weather permitting – swimming and sunbathing is still allowed even throughout October.

Umbrellas and deck chairs can be rented from the beach facilities, or you can choose to rent a pedalo, a canoe or a boat for a day out on the crystalline sea to discover all the hidden coves.
